Family Updates

This has been an exciting summer so far. We started off in the end of May with a trip to Hawaii with Taylor's family. We stayed a week in Kehei, Maui and had a wonderful time. It was great getting so much family time and it was Andrew's first vacation. Andrew enjoyed the beach and tried to eat the sand. One of our many highlights was snorkeling almost everyday and swimming with a sea turtle.

At the end of June, Angela decided to stop working and is choosing to stay home as a full-time mom. She is loving it. Her and Andrew have been very busy with Mom's group, Beginning Shrimp- Andrew's swimming class at the YMCA, and fun times at the park. Angela and Andrew also got to go on a trip to Minnesota with Angela's grandma to see her dear friend Katherine and Angela's family.

In July the Lord blessed us with providing Taylor with a new job. He is now a Educational Counselor at a local College and is loving every minute of it. We are so thankful for this new job. He is enjoying being on a college campus and helping students.

In July we also got to see some of Angela's family in Bellingham, WA for a mini family reunion.

Andrew is also changing so much and it is so fun seeing his personality develop. He is a joyful baby. It is so fun taking him out on errands because he has such a sincere, big smile that everyone falls in love with him. He loves being in the water, the zoo especially the sea otters, and the swing at the park. He is becoming more vocal and more active everyday, but can still be pretty mellow guy. He is working on learning to crawl. He scoots backwards until he gets stuck under the couch or somewhere else and then we move him forward and he does it again.

Wow! What a handsome little guy. thank you so much for sending this to me. It's great to finally be connected. I know being a "stay at home" mom is taboo, I am glad you decided to do it Andrew deserves it and so do you. Congrats on the new job.
