Florida
Tay and I were so blessed to get some time away! We spent a week in Fort Meyers Beach Florida, just the two of us. Andrew stayed all week with Auntie Kelsey and did great. We has so much fun walking on the beach, relaxing in the sun, playing mini golf, and going to Busch Gardens Theme Park in Tampa. The weather was amazing. Fort Meyers actually had a freak cold front right before we got there, but the sun came out for us. It was in the low 80's all week and rained right as we were leaving. So we felt really blessed.
The beach at Fort Meyers is amazing. Since it is on the gulf the sand is like flour.

We love theme parks, so we decided to take the 3 hour adventure to Tampa to Busch Gardens. Our favorite ride was the Sheikra roller coaster. The best part of the ride is it takes you up a steep incline and pauses as you hang forward in a floorless car right before a 200 foot drop. Tay and I rode in the very front twice and loved every minute of it.

We also caught a 3D show at Busch Gardens

14 Months
Andrew turned 14 months yesterday and being parents just gets better and better. He is thriving and looking and acting more like a toddler than a baby every day. Last week when we least expected it he took his first steps. Now we know he can walk, but he knows it is faster to crawl. So he hasn't wanted to walk much since, but we know that soon he'll be running. It seems like everyday he is doing something new. He is definitely curious about everything and loves blocks, trucks, and balls. Grandma Carolyn got his a new walker and he pushes it all over the house backing it up, weaving around things and people. He continues to be joy to the whole family.

Holiday Memories!
Sorry it has taken us so long to write on our blog, we will try to be better about keeping our blog current this next year. We had so much fun this holiday season. Here are the highlights from the last month and half.
Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Angela's family and spent Friday-Sunday after Christmas with Taylor's family.

We got 7 inches of snow at our house and we had so much fun playing in it. We took Andrew sledding down the street in our neighborhood on a the sled that was Angela's grandpas. He loved it.

Angela's brother and sister-in-law had their twins. Jackson on the top and Memphis on the botton were born on Dec. 6th. They are both healthy, peaceful babies.

We went to Zoolights at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. It was cold, but the lights were beautiful and we has a blast.

We were nervous about having a real Christmas tree this year, but we had to have one so we went to a u-cut place as a family. After we decorated the tree, Andrew didn't mess with it too much so it lasted all month.

These pictures are from Thanksgiving at Aunt Judy's house. Starting from the right, Andrew is hanging out with Grandpa. Then in the other picture Andrew is enjoying his first Thanksgiving feast. He especially liked the roll.

Andrew's Birthday
Andrew had a great birthday. We had a big party for him with all his family and friends. We filled a baby pool full of plastic balls and he was in baby heaven.

Party Time!
